I’m sharing a personal story about making a big decision for my son’s school—even when it meant walking away from a good thing—because I didn’t want to live with the “what ifs.”

Here’s what to do:

1. Get honest — What’s not working?
2. Zoom out — Will you regret not taking action a year from now?
3. Take one small step — Just enough to get the ball rolling.
4. Make peace with imperfect — You don’t have to have it all figured out.
5. Repeat this with me — I’d rather be brave than comfortable.
