In this episode Jen sit's down with MumSafe Trainer and owner of Mum Strong, Sarah Castley who looks after mums of Hobart in Tasmania.
Jen invited Sarah onto the podcast to talk about how becoming an oversubscribed or 'sold out' business If you haven't listened to Episode 13 with Daniel Priestley on 'How to sell out your mum-focused fitness business' this is a great episode to listen to for further context and information on this topic.
Sarah runs a business in Hobart, TAS called Mum Strong she believes that returning to exercise following childbirth is so much more than chucking on your sneakers and heading out the door, it needs to be done safely, effectively, and thoughtfully.
Sarah has created a space and community conducive to helping mums improve their mental and physical health and well-being. A place where mums can exercise, form friendships, and feel safe, free of judgement (and have a laugh)!
Sarah’s mission is to help mums to understand the importance of prioritising themselves. To lock in time just for them. Helping them to feel stronger, more confident, and energised to keep up with the daily demands of motherhood (which is never ending)!
I wanted to speak with Sarah because she is living and breathing the oversubscribed philosophy. After launching one session, that became sold out she held off launching the next one while she grew her status as the go to exercise professional for mums in her area.
Off the back of the success running her Mum Strong program in one gym she recently launched into another facility and has become sold out already and I wanted to share a real life example of how being oversubscribed truly makes doing business easier (and more fun!)
