And just like the best entrepreneurs could sell ice to Eskimos, bringing the Brazilian brand Havaianas here revolutionized the way Filipinos wore the _tsinelas—_by turning it from humble home footwear staple into a trendy, and eventually, cult collectible fashion essential. Now recognized as the "flip-flop queen,” Anne was named one of Go Negosyo’s 55 Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs in 2016 and employs almost 300 people in her Great Place To Work-certified company.
