Tory is an athletic trainer who works in a supervisory role, in the secondary setting, and also is helping set up a concussion clinic within the organization he works within. Troy has seen and done a lot in his career and now, when you talk to him, he always seems to have added a service role or something else to help with the care of patients and/or the advancement of the athletic training profession.
Personally, I connected with Troy through the NATA Gather’s mentorship area and we have been connecting monthly for about a year now. It’s been a great experience learning from Troy but also having the back and forth of idea exchange and looking at different avenues from different perspectives. Troy shares a lot of knowledge on how things have evolved in his career and what he has learned and also now some new areas he is learning about from personal experience.
