Working on Operations from desert air bases in the Middle East and Cyprus are the men and women of 83 Expeditionary Air Group. The combined efforts of HQ 83 EAG, its Expeditionary Air Wings and Force Elements are pivotal in combatting Daesh. If you're in the RAF and haven't deployed there yet, chances are you will sometime in the future. Our correspondents, currently serving with 83 EAG, are Squadron Leader Mel and Flight Lieutenant Jordan.
