With the recent passing of bassist Roger Newell, we spend an episode talking about his work in the music world. After working with the band Rainbow Ffolly, he joined Rick Wakeman's English Rock Ensemble, performing on Rick's solo albums Journey to the Centre of the Earth, The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and No Earthly Connection. Following this, he joined a band called The Wildcats. We read tributes to Roger Newell that were posted by each of the aforementioned artists, talk about his use of the triple neck bass that became heavily associated with Chris Squire, and go over our impressions of Roger's work on Rick's solo albums.
