Miguel is a first generation college student and therefore, also a first generation athletic trainer. We connected with Miguel through social media and asked what topic or story he would like to share and the story of being a first generation college student was where we landed. In this episode, we discuss Miguel’s path of getting into college, finding the athletic training profession and then figuring out the next steps from there and beyond. 

Miguel shares his story about figuring out what was next, asking questions, and finding people that could help him along the way to end up where he is now and set his plans for the future.
