For Hannah Weisberg, the closing of her workshop and event space Dove & Olive Mercantile was only the beginning of her career. The workshop had just opened in 2020 but closed its doors that fall due to the pandemic. Then, Hannah knew the need for connection was more important (and challenging) than ever. She launched The Women's Social Club (WSC) to see if other women felt the same way. What began as twice-a-month meet-ups in parks and other outdoor venues around Raleigh, has evolved into a community of over 700 women with a variety of in-person event offerings in multiple cities, an online community, and more chapter locations opening across the country.
