Dr. Snyder emphasizes that his expertise in clinical research was developed through mentorship and continuous learning, including earning his Clinical Masters in wound care and MBA. 

Dr. Snyder highlights how students sometimes miss opportunities to develop relationships with mentors, whether it be faculty members or professionals they meet at meetings or seminars. He emphasizes how mentorship is crucial for success, urging students to actively seek out mentors to guide their career development. 

Dr. Jensen and Dr. Snyder also discuss how work-life balance has to be earned as a DPM. Dr. Snyder discusses how in podiatry, work-life balance may come a little sooner than if you were a primary care doctor. He believes that once you earn it, it's something you can enjoy. 

Dr. Snyder highlights the endowment he and his wife created predicated on sending students that are interested in wound management, limb preservation, and or research to a meeting to a major meeting in the United States.
