Here’s an excerpt from the blog post.
There is, of course, the reference to the thirty pieces of silver for which christ was betrayed by Judas, but the last few chapters give us incredible insight to how the final days of this world will unfold. One of the things we see is that Jerusalem will be made a "heavy stone" and "all who lift it will surely hurt themselves. Furthermore, "all the nations of the earth will gather against it." But God will destroy all the nations that gathered against his anointed city. (See 12:9-10)
Intermingled with the last days prophesies we see the cross highlighted as well for "On that day there will be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness." And also, "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered."
