Derek Chauvin’s attorney, Greg Joseph, joined Liz Collin on her podcast. 

Joseph offered an update about the status of Chauvin’s legal battles in seeking post-conviction relief in Minnesota.

He explained to Collin that “this is really an opportunity for us to paint a picture, not only of, of what happened but also how it happened and why it happened. And this is a chance for us to make things right.”

Now that Chauvin’s trial and appeal are over, Joseph explained that post-conviction relief is “Derek's last line of defense.”

Collin also pointed out that for the past five years, Derek and his family have been paying for his legal expenses, which now include paying for the expert witnesses necessary to help make his case.
