Linda Hunsberger, a Minnesota mom who was shocked to learn that her son identified as trans, spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast. 

She shared her story publicly for the first time —and warned other parents to avoid being left in the dark while children are preyed upon.

“There really is a silent majority that is not for this, but you wouldn't think that just by hearing what the media is saying,” Hunsberger said.

Heidi Linhoff, a registered nurse, spoke with Liz Collin about how young patients assault hospital staff without consequences. 

Heidi Linhoff, a registered nurse at Fairview Riverside Children's Emergency Department in Minneapolis, joined Liz Collin on her podcast. Linhoff spoke about some of the harrowing stories of young patients assaulting nurses and hospital staff without consequences. 

She explained how some staff members have had their jobs ended due to the injuries they suffered—and how others have chosen to leave out of fear.

She detailed stories of nurses and other staff suffering concussions, broken bones, and taking punches from patients. 

“The injuries have forced a lot of people to leave because they're scared,” she said. “And I was literally dumbfounded that we do nothing, that it seems to be acceptable to, you know, to assault a healthcare worker.”

Tou Thao, one of the four Minneapolis police officers sent to prison for being involved in the arrest and heart attack of George Floyd, spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast.

Thao was one of the officers sent to prison for being involved in George Floyd's arrest and heart attack. He spoke out about his political imprisonment, the weaponization of Minnesota's justice system, and his powerful message in the brand new documentary, Minnesota Mao.

“I want to expose and give the truth because what they want is to smother the truth. And I think we can kind of see that last eight years in the Walz administration,” said Thao.

Janeen Balsimo, a retired Minnesota state employee, spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast about what she believes to be yet another kind of Somali fraud involving workers' comp cases and “fake employees” with “fake injuries.”

She explained how "it seemed like 50% of my work comp cases … were Somali cases” — and how up to $150,000 was awarded for injuries.

Balsimo said that it wasn't until watching Nick Shirley's viral video that she recognized some familiar business names while working in the tort recovery unit for the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

“I thought about it, I thought, wow, so the fraud went as far as the employee was a fake employee, probably with fake injuries, because there is no people at these places,” she said.

Jace Svensk, a student at Osseo Senior High School, spoke to Liz Collin on her podcast about how he believes his classmates were “forced" to take part in an LGBTQIA+ lesson and how the school made an “error” when he attempted to opt out.

Svensk told Collin that the school appears to be "more focused on identity politics and promoting these pride celebrations than they are actually teaching us." 

A spokesperson for the Osseo School District responded by stating that the district has over 7,000 high school students and that it "will review this year's processes and make needed improvements."

Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast about the case of Brian Pippitt—who was convicted of killing an 84-year-old store owner—and how he believes the questionable decision-making of Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and his Conviction Review Unit has put confidence in the Minnesota criminal justice system on the line. 

“The sheriffs across the state of Minnesota stand strong together. We're going to fight evil. But when the politics get in front of good versus bad, bad things happen," said Sheriff Guida

Ellison and Walz, who make up two-thirds of the Minnesota Board of Pardons, voted to commute Pippitt’s sentence despite substantial opposition from Sheriff Guida, another member of the pardon board, and many others.
