𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐬, 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 (𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲)?

This was me in 2011,  three weeks after my girlfriend ended our relationship. I was struggling badly, but I hid it well.

I got all my validation from her and suddenly that was removed from my life. I didn’t know any proactive ways to cope so I turned to drugs and alcohol.  

I was keeping myself as busy as I could to avoid the pain… a pain I wish I acknowledged. I was experiencing my first real heartbreak and the first warning sign I wasn’t comfortable with who I was.

Every time I see this photo, I remember what I thinking & feeling and I wish I could go back and tell myself what I know now.

I was lost, I hated myself and I thought I needed other peoples validation to prove I was worthy.

Man, I was wrong…

"2011 Lachie” didn’t need another female or drugs & alcohol…

I needed myself. I needed to step up and acknowledge my insecurities and find the answers within to overcome that.

Men, No matter whats going on in your life…

You Are Worthy… You may not be focusing on the right things JUST YET.
