In this episode of The MumSafe Movement Podcast Jen is talking to Emma Bunting of Motivate Mums.
Emma has two boys Oliver and Nathan and has always been active growing up and sport has always been a big part of Emma’s life. Emma has always dreamt about being a personal trainer and after she had her two boys Emma knew she wanted to help other mums.
Emma’s mission is to help mums feel the happiest and healthiest they’ve ever been, to feel amazing about themselves, and to be a good role model to their children. Motivate Mums is about having fun and having a smile on your face while you exercise, Emma wants to create a community feel if Emma sees mums having fun and are happy she feels like she has done her job well.
After Emma qualified she worked at Vision Personal Training then went on to set up Motivate Mums.
Emma has also been a MumSafe Trainers for the past 3.5years and is a wonderful example of doing the work, following the systems and remaining consistent.
Jen invited Emma onto the podcast because she started her business in Sydney only to shut it down 18m later, move to the Sunshine Coast and rebuild. She went on to rebuild Motivate mums on the Sunshine Coast and equalled her previous business income in just 6months. Since then she has grown even more, launched a podcast, started running community events and I know there are much bigger things to come.
If you’ve ever wondered you will get anywhere with your small business listen to Emma’s journey and know that you can absolutely create a bigger impact and a business you are proud of when you stay consistent and gain support along the way.
