Pat has been active in HPNA and HPNF and has witnessed a great deal of growth and change in our field, including the growth and acceptance of palliative care, nursing and team member certification, evidence-based practice, and educational programs focused on increasing the knowledge of students and professionals in both hospice and palliative care.
