Today, we walk with Christ and the disciples as they begin heading towards the Cross. We go with them into the Garden, and we stand there in despair as the mob comes to take Jesus away. Despite their cruel intentions, Jesus was still kind to them. Peter was not so kind as he pulled a sword and lopped off the ear of the high priest’s servant. Jesus healed the man, but the mob took Him away regardless. They took Him to Annas and Caiaphas, while Peter followed afar off… is that the way you are following Jesus today?
