It is an unfortunate reality that the prosperity gospel is prospering. Many people in the pews fall in love with the message that tells them the more you give, the more you get. Prosperity preachers continue to take passages of Scripture out of context to tickle the ears of their listeners into thinking that they can be healthy and wealthy when they financially sow seeds of faith to their ministries. We’ve looked long and hard throughout the Bible, and we just can’t seem to find any evidence of this teaching.
