In this episode, we conclude the month of March with a continued theme focused on how to "Spring into Action" specifically our tips on "how to" SPRING FORWARD towards PRODUCTIVITY both personally and professionally even in the midst of #socialdistance 

Call to Action:

Personally: 

  • Develop a regimen/routine schedule ( started back working out, more cooking and eating at home)  
  • Vitamin D use this as an opportunity take walks and get outdoors
  • Building up our immune system (i.e. tea/elderberry, increasing your vitamin intake) 
  • More reading , thinking, planning and journaling  

Professionally: be strategic in your approach 

(1) PREPARE YOURSELF  

  • Know WHAT you want to do (DO THE RESEARCH)   
  • Attend information sessions (i.e. General Assembly free intro courses for different technology roles) 
  • peruse job seeking sites for job responsibilities and salary (LinkedIn Emerging Jobs report)
  • Leverage FREE LEARNING - coursera, udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Trailheads to gain the education or skills 

 (2) POSITION YOURSELF 

  • Intentionally attend networking events in the field 
  • Volunteer for organizations aligned to the industry  
  • Intentionally connect with others in the industry leverage meetup, eventbrite, user group meetings  

(3) PROPEL YOURSELF into ACTION (INVEST in YOURSELF) 

  • Update your resume and LinkedIn 
  • Enroll courses or programs (i.e. Emerging Programs)
