Today, we discuss what Paul meant when he told us not to allow anyone to judge us in meat, drink, holy day, new moon, or even the sabbath. He said these things are only a shadow of what is to come, but he pointed us to Christ through these shadows. He then condemned the teachings of the false leaders who had arisen, and once again pointed us to Jesus, who he called our Head. I have heard some say that Eli had allowed the fire to go out that was to always be burning, because the next verse and the context says from evening to morning… so, which is it?
