 This chapter gives us counsel in how to have humility, good relationships, and self-awareness. It warns us against boasting about the future, praising ourselves, and it describes how wrath can be our downfall. We also learn that friends are to sharpen us just as iron sharpens iron. Solomon reminds us that we need to be faithful in our friendships, diligent in our stewardship, and recognize where true wealth and honor comes from.
