We believe modest apparel reflects a woman’s inner character, and expresses it outwardly through restraint, dignity, and godly behavior. We also believe that true modesty will cause a woman to avoid extravagant styles, jewelry, and clothing that blurs gender distinctions or provokes lust. True beauty is inward, and it is marked by a meek, quiet spirit, reverence, and sobriety. When this is all in order, it will shape our outward dress in a way that honors God.
