In this episode, Katey talks about money. Her opinion is that women have been excluded from the money conversation for a really long time and she addresses it from her point of view. So I think that we should change that. I also want to make it known that the way that I talk about money, it is not lost on me that it is a privilege, it is a privilege, the way that I am able to talk about money and my money story, I denounce white supremacy, I very much realized that privilege exists and that I'm sure I have benefited from it. And that makes me sick. And you know, we can't do everything, but we can do some things. And I think just recognizing that is super important. So I just, you know, want to make it known that I do recognize my privilege, and I hope that things change. Okay, second, I mentioned a tech firm in there. And I say that how In this episode I mentioned and I say how tech firms can be a bit stuffy. And that's true, not all of them. But there's another part where I say that I didn't feel like I fit it with my peers. And I don't want it to seem like my peers were stuffy because they were freaking awesome. I loved them so much. It was just that I thought that they were way above me in like deserving to be there. That's all that I meant by that. I also bring up other bloggers and influencers and the way that they do business, and I realized I can't group everyone together. But I still do stand firm by what I said. And I do think that sometimes quality work can be pushed down in exchange for money. And I just I don't think that's right. And I think that I want to uphold this industry, you know, I want it to I want the bar to be really high because I think that it should be but I love and respect my peers. And I also mentioned how like sometimes willing to simpleton facts are shared, maybe I should have used a different word than that. But I just meant the basics, but at the same time, sometimes people just want the basics, you know, so maybe I should just shut up. So anyways, I just want to say that. And then I do mention brands that I work with. And I don't want you thinking that it applies to brands that I am in deals with.
