Frankie the Fire Engine was excited. Today was a very special day, a special day indeed! Today was the day that the school kids from Ahway Island Middle School were coming to the Ahway Island Fire Station. They would get to take a tour of the Fire Station and meet Frankie! Frankie just loved all the kids and he loved his job protecting them and helping them feel safe.

Early in the morning, the entire crew of firefighters on duty opened the garage door to the Fire Station and brought Frankie outside on the driveway. They were going to give him a bath to make sure he was shiny and sparkling clean for all the kids.
