Dr. Mike Brasher reunites with graduate students Jordan Thompson and Caroline Blommel and research assistants Lydia Martin, Laura Wallace, and Jacob Tepsa to recount their summer experiences at a remote brant research camp on Alaska’s Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge. The group reflects on primitive living, the beauty and solitude of an Alaskan landscape, unique bird life, quirky books, scientific understanding, entertaining stories, going months without a shower, and lifelong friendships.
