This week we are thrilled to be joined by Janette Newman, Deputy Director of the Early Childhood Center at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. Our focus is discussing what a high quality preschool experience looks like, especially at the start of the year. We pay especial attention to how classroom set-up and a play based curriculum supports children’s early self-regulation. By focusing on one example of a high quality experience, we delve into more details of how various activities in the preschool classroom support children’s concurrent and long-term development.
