Todd Von Joel is an actor whose credits include Eastenders, Holby City and Silent Witness. He is also a good pal, with an uncanny and disarming ability to be vulnerable. He spoke to me about working as a painter and decorator, toxic relationships, quitting booze and his spell in prison.
