We may not admit it, but the unspoken hierarchy of missionary service is:

Best: Foreign mission/foreign Language
Then: Foreign mission/native language
Next: Domestic mission, foreign language
Then: Domestic mission, same language, and
Finally: Service/alternative/non-traditional missions
