Erin McFarlane is the Head Athletic Trainer for the Washington Spirit of the WNSL. Erin has had a lot of experience in a lot of different settings in her career up to this point and with that has gained unique insight in the athletic training profession. Ranging from now at the professional level all the way to working at a high school Erin has been able to take away ideas and principles to help develop her own philosophy.

Along with the discussion of starting her first year as the Head AT with the Spirit, we talk about how that went in the times of COVID. Erin had unique insight and also highlighted the importance of getting everyone’s thoughts and viewpoints on the pandemic and how it might affect operations. In times where communication is so important, Erin really highlighted how it can work.
