In early 2023, Poolhouse was motivated by the heavens to begin his pro-cosmic, anti-regime broadcast in earnest. He circulated laters to a handful of anons explaining his mission and inviting them to chat–and this became the first cohort of backklash all-stars that you love today: Basil. Cassandra. Spendy. Tucker. Biz. Q. A.

But there was one invitee who declined at the time. But Poolhouse is surprisingly as patient as he is persistent. He knew the day would arrive when his open invitation would be accepted, and the prophecy would be complete.

backklashistas, the day has arrived.

Poohouse is thrilled to welcome his online anon friend Tarq of the Void to the show! Tarq and Poolhouse became acquainted in the great Winter of Sickness of Death of 2022, in a most remote corner of the internet. They each had found themselves 20000 leagues beneath a shadowbanned sea, at the murky spot where the shipwrecks of post-left, conspiracy left, and dissident right twitter all converged.

You might simply call it “the timeline.” But for Pooly & Tarq, this is what they refer to as THE VOID.

In the 21 months or so since Poolhouse first sent those letter as he began HERE COMES THE BACKKLASH, so much has transpired (mostly psyops and media market machinations) that it feels as though several lifetimes have passed in the interim. Poolhouse and Tarq recount their online experiences observations in pursuing both the truth and like-minded, truth-loving brethren on the Twitter scene–which gets called both “Satan’s endorphin mill” and a “Bernaysian dream machine” in this rousing and provocative episode.

Who is Tarq, and how did he come to find himself in the Void? How was Tarq able to navigate his resistance to the covid mandates while surrounded by many who did not share his beliefs? Is he truly based, or did he just get lucky because he’s a contrarian?

From there, we delve into several ways The Void manifests: as censorship, as cognitive dissonance, as aversion to spirit. This episode plumbs the depths of The Void, but retains that classic kaleidoscopic backklash style in the process. We are dragging con(spiracy) leftists and calling out their paradoxical beliefs. We are celebrating the madness / revelation of Philip K Dick. We are speaking up about how WEIRD it is that hospitals began to snip every dick in America starting in the 1950s. We are having laughs, making new old friends, and wielding the spirit to bridge the gaps created by time and space and the forces of alienation.

We are surrendering to The Void, because the only way out is through. THIS is what here comes the backklash is really about.
