40 years ago, on August 1, 1981, MTV launched with The Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star" (viewable here: https://youtu.be/PJtiPRDIqtI) To commemorate the occasion, we talk not only about the music videos for that song, but also other music videos by The Buggles as well as Yes music videos that probably aired on MTV. We even talk a bit about Asia, ABWH, and Trevor Rabin's "Something to Hold Onto" music video. But before all that, we touch upon the 49th anniversary of Alan White's first Yes gig (7/30/1972), comments about the song "Mystery Tour" which will be on The Quest, a very brief update on the Monkman situation (you may have already heard), and a Tom Brislin post with a clever Yes reference.
