In Peru, WESR was a pioneer of the graffiti scene in the 90’s and gained massive recognition for his clean letter styles but it was his figurative work that would eventually lead him into the galleries and allow him to break out onto the international scene. His trademark character, which he takes from Peruvian folklore, is as versatile as his letter styles and wether he works with acrylic, spray-paint, ink, water colors, tattoo gun, or pen his work is always evolving and always fresh.
