Chuck DeVore of the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) joins Jacki to review a long-forgotten history of U.S. presidential election fallout and shows that this is not the first time that a presidential election was litigated well into the year following the election, as when JFK narrowly “defeated” Nixon. Likewise, disputes over the electoral college count and violence surrounding elections was arguably far worse in the late 1800s when discontents formed the KKK in part to violently intimidate (or worse) voters. America has survived far worse times. Then, Jacki speaks with Erik Milito of the National Ocean Industries Association to examine Biden’s latest executive orders that harm the U.S. oil and gas industry while benefitting foreign competitors. Finally, Jacki examines international headlines demonstrating that while the U.S. government and financial institutions are now moving to undercut domestic energy, Russia, China, India, Iran, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and other OPEC nations are full-speed-ahead in their fossil fuel production and usage.
