In December 2012, fear spread through New York City after two men were pushed in front of subway trains. Sunando Sen was in NYC earning a Ph.D. in Economics while running a print shop and doing humanitarian work to support fellow Hindus. He was on his way into Manhattan when a stranger pushed him to his death.
