Brandon is a proud member of the Kwantlen First Nation, whose unceded territories span present-day New Westminster, North Surrey, Port Kells, Langley Township, Langley City, East Maple Ridge, Whonnock, Ruskin, and Mission City. He also identifies with his kinship groups that include both the Downriver Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm-speaking (Metro Vancouver) and Upriver Halkomelem-speaking (Fraser Valley & Fraser Canyon) tribal nations, with deep familial ties across these communities.

Through his work, Brandon blends traditional Indigenous knowledge with contemporary art and design, creating powerful visual stories that connect culture, history, and identity. His art has been featured on international stages, but always remains grounded in his roots and responsibility to community.
