This week, NYC-based actor, writer, and new mom Brittney Bertier bravely shares her labor story. She walks us through what led to her Maternal Femoral Nerve Damage diagnosis, how it has impacted her life, and what she wants every woman to know about it. She and Alex discuss what she wishes she knew before giving birth, the pros and cons of hospital interventions, and their takeaways from the 2007 documentary “The Business Of Being Born.”
Brittney is best known for originating the role of Norma Jean in “Marilyn! The New Musical” at the Paris in Las Vegas. She recently starred in the West Coast premiere of Lucas Hnath’s “… The Death of Walt Disney” which was named one of the top 10 productions of 2022 by The LA Times. She has also been awarded Best Acting Performance by the Austin Comedy Film Festival and is currently at work on her first feature film.
