Crystal Smith is owner and head taxidermist at Clearwater Taxidermy in central Nebraska.  She competes in competition to help hone her craft and churn out better and better mounts for her customers.  Recently a post of a "dead mount" Sandhill Crane caused some ruffled feather on social media, which we have some opinions about.
