Ep.1- 17 things learnt before I turnt 50

We swap the noise of headlines for the clear voice of Psalm 8, moving from frozen sidewalks to burning awe. Worship reframes identity, weakness becomes a stage for God’s strength, and Jesus brings Psalm 8 to life by restoring our dignity and purpose.

• God’s majesty as the frame for perspective
• Why weakness and childlike praise display strength
• Awe at God’s mindfulness of small people
• Human dignity, stewardship, and the image of God
• How Psalm 8 points to Jesus in Hebrews 2
• Identity anchored beyond failure, status, or lack
• Closing call to trust Christ and live in worship

If you don't have a relationship with Jesus, you better get right

We open with lighthearted jokes before moving into 1 John 4 and the call to test the spirits, hold fast to the Gospel, and live out love that silences fear. Truth keeps us grounded, love keeps us effective, and both flow from Jesus, not from trends or vibes.

• testing the spirits against the confession of Jesus
• warning about false prophets and self-focused spirituality
• God is love versus the illusion of feel-good truth
• perfect love casting out fear in daily life
• loving brothers and sisters as proof of knowing God
• truth and love working together for maturity
• practical encouragement to rely on the Spirit

We study 1 John 3 to reclaim identity as children of God, confront sin with grace-fueled change, and choose faith over feelings when shame gets loud. We challenge cheap love and call for love that shows up, gives, serves, and sacrifices.

• adoption before transformation as the gospel pattern
• identity named by God, not by past or labels
• sin as lawlessness and the power of new birth to change patterns
• love that costs as the measure of real faith
• faith over feelings when hearts condemn
• assurance anchored in Christ’s finished work
• living like God’s children with visible love

We explore 1 John 2 and press a simple but searching question: do you know God for real, and does it show in your life. We talk about obedience as evidence, love as proof, and how grace reshapes appetite, attraction, and ego.

• obedience as evidence of knowing God
• grace redefining obedience, not removing it
• living like Jesus in stress, conflict and misunderstanding
• love as proof of light, not extra credit
• rejecting grudges, bitterness and performative love
• guarding desires against lust, pride and worldly pulls
• aligning confession with conduct through honest self-checks
• prayer for forgiveness, formation and courage in storms

Guys, I love you. God loves you. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, you better get right.

We open 1 John and talk plainly about light, truth, sin, and repentance. A personal story of collapse and return shows how confession heals and why fear loses power when we step into the light.

• eyewitness foundation of faith in 1 John 1:1–4
• God is light with no darkness
• honesty as the test of real fellowship
• confession and cleansing by Jesus’ blood
• denial as self-deception that harms the soul
• light exposing to heal rather than shame
• fear, humility, and the courage to return
• testimony of loss, repentance, and renewal
• practical call to walk in truth daily

We walk through 1 Thessalonians 5 to build a simple, steady rule of life: refuse revenge, rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks, stay open to the Spirit while testing everything, and trust God to sanctify you fully. Personal updates, honest struggles, and a clear invitation to hope frame a practical path forward.

• background on Thessalonica as a diverse trade hub
• faith under pressure and hope in Christ’s return
• do not repay wrong for wrong
• rejoice, pray, and give thanks as daily habits
• do not quench the Spirit; test everything
• hold fast to good; reject every kind of evil
• sanctification of spirit, soul, and body
• community encouragement and constant prayer
• armor of God for daily battles
• invitation to receive Jesus and live new
• trusting God through slow work and uncertainty
• renewing the mind to change your life

We unpack a church protest in Minnesota, examine how chants and media shape public perception, and weigh whether outrage is authentic or staged. We pray for local churches, challenge fear-based narratives, and revisit a classic warning about gradual centralization of power.

• protest inside a Minnesota church and its impact on worship
• biblical lens on chanting and ritual repetition
• personal ties to local pastors and a call to pray
• pattern recognition across administrations and media moments
• media framing, orchestrated dissent, and fear as leverage
• debate over racism labels and spiritual identity
• extended prayer for churches, families, and national healing
• historical warning on gradual centralization and loss of freedom

We question whether selective outages and media blind spots reveal deeper control of the story while calling for discernment rooted in scripture. We name the modern faces of ancient sins, point to the fruit test for truth, and invite practical generosity and peace.

• selective cell outages and narrative gaps
• why discernment beats outrage
• lust and idolatry as everyday habits
• testing leaders and messages by their fruits
• practical generosity, ministry support, and custom shirts
• scriptures on peace as a resilient posture
• a direct call to turn back to God
