Christian Acker is the author of Flip the Script. He started the Handselecta project back in 2003, documenting handstyles for over 10 years from graffiti writers like Mike Giant, CHINO,  AGUA, ESPO and STAY HIGH 149. Between 2003 and 2013 he assembled over 100 interviews and alphabets by American writers of different cities, spanning from the 1960s to the 2010s. His book, Flip The Script helps contextualize American graffiti through those interviews and writing samples placed in a historic context. It was the first to present material like this in a clean, structured layout. It has been out of print and hotly pursued for the last 5 years and it has just been rereleased.
