Today’s guest is Jamilah Robinson, one of the founders of Missing Pieces Support Group, located right here in Houston, Texas. Missing Pieces serves the community of people who have experienced pregnancy loss, and it’s organized by a group of women who have all experienced pregnancy losses ranging from first-term miscarriages to stillborns.

It is their mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and offer support to grieving families, and October is Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month. On today’s show, Jamilah shares about her own miscarriages and the trauma and grief that followed, along with her healing journey. She shares her story of what helped her through her experience, how to show up for someone who is going through this experience, and how awareness can break down the taboo around this unfortunately very common experience.
