OPTIMIST is leaving San Francisco after a life largely spent in the Bay Area. As one of the early Americans to relocate to Asia, OPTIMIST lived in Taiwan bombing the city for 3 years during a time period when the country had no scene & the public was unaware of graffiti. Eventually he moved back to the Bay and has been there since. His life has been mired with a sense of instability due to involvement with graffiti. His upcoming art show “Travelin' Man” will be showing at RVCA SF on September 1st. 2023.
