Many aspiring authors decide to write a book and immediately dive into the deep end without testing the waters first. While that’s laudable on one hand - you do have to put in the work and write - it’s also foolhardy on the other. 

Without proper preparation, you can unintentionally forego quality, lose money, and invite negative criticisms.
