A fellow northerner, Martin’s songwriting is nuanced and excellent, and is widely regarded as one of the UK’s finest.

The Daintees released their first highly-acclaimed single in 1982, and since then have remained prolific and very popular and still perform regularly. Fun fact – I’m quite fond of folk-influenced music, as is my fellow electronic buddy, Vince Clarke!
