“Treat others how you want to be treated.” The golden rule. It's a hard one to follow especially if you are not very nice to yourself.  Oddly enough how you treat yourself will be reflected in how you treat others.  If we broke down the statement “treat others how YOU want to be treated” ask yourself are you treating yourself the way you want to be treated??  Take a moment and reflect.

I'm very self-critical and I'm very driven and motivated and I have these expectations, but the way I talk to myself isn't how I talk to others so why do I talk to myself this way??
