In 2011, 33-year-old Lee-Anne Shannon opened her home to a young homeless woman named Jamie Hathaway, who had nowhere to go. She met the girl through her preacher, and had no way of knowing that her 33-year-old husband Tim Shannon already knew her. At first, Lee-Anne thought the young woman would become her adoptive daughter. However, Jamie soon became Tim's mistress. When one of the trio turns up dead, the love triangle starts to unravel.
