Rusty married his high school sweetheart and embarked on a life in ministry. His life was turned upside down when his wife confessed to an affair after 15 years of marriage. His world was shattered where they began a journey of healing, forgiveness, redemption, and restoration. Rusty transparently discusses the emotional wreckage attached to infidelity and the road, IN CHRIST, back to reconciliation and intimacy with his wife.

He serves as the Executive Director of Brilla (pronounced “BREE-YA”) Soccer Ministries. Brilla uses the sport of soccer to share the Gospel through international missions, camps and clinics, youth leagues, and a pre-professional team. Rusty and his wife Heather also started a marriage ministry called The Redeemed Marriage where the also host a podcast together.
