EP64 - An Analysis of Virginia House Races with Fergie Reid, Jr. The 2025 race for control of the Virginia House of Delegates will serve as a barometer on the mood of the country and the policies of Donald Trump. Fergie Reid, Jr., the son William Ferguson Reid, the first Black person to be elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 1968, will discuss House races and the current political mood in Virginia less than three weeks from Election Day.

He has also launched an effort to fund Democrats running for the House of Delegates who are in the reddest House Districts in Virginia. The effort to fund mostly rural candidates in the hardest seats for Democrats to win is called Virginia Value Pack 27.
