Terry Barensten is a cyclist who's videos feature cycling & track bike culture; riding brake-less track bikes on the Queensboro and Mexico City highways, hotlines and alleycats. Cycling culture has played an influential role that immersed the hardcore punk and graffiti scenes of downtown New York in the late 90s-early 2000s.  New York's fixed-gear community was largely born out of bicycle messengers in New York City looking for lower maintenance bicycles that were cheaper to acquire.
