This Sunday is fast approaching, and we are so excited to hear from Open Hands Global, who work alongside the poorest and oppressed communities within Pakistan in order to help break the cycle of poverty through education.

This Sunday we’ll be hearing a message from our very own Monica Lombo - it’s going to be an encouraging morning!

This week we will be listening to a video presentation from the Chiriseri family (Felix, Cecilia, and Hannah) on what God is doing through their ministry in South Africa! It’s going to be a great Sunday!

This week we will be looking at Psalm 27 and seeing what it means when Scripture tells us to ‘Seek God’s Face.’ We’ll be reminded that to seek His face means to spend time in His presence; as well as learning how we do that, and why we should in the first place.

This week we are concluding our series 'True To His Word’ based on Luke 4 as we focus on “Set the Oppressed Free.” We will be reminded that Jesus is an ally for those who have been crushed by abuse of power and offers freedom to those who are oppressed.

This week we will be continuing our series 'True To His Word’ based on Luke 4 as we focus on “Recovery of Sight for the Blind.” We will be reminded that Jesus is the light of the world who brings hope and joy where there is distress and darkness.

This week we will be continuing our series 'True To His Word’ based on Luke 4 as we focus on “Freedom for Captives.” We will be reminded that it is only when we understand the enormity of the forgiveness that we have been granted by God will we be able to demonstrate unlimited forgiveness to others

In Luke 4, Jesus is standing in the synagogue reading Isaiah 61, declaring what the Kingdom of God is all about and what his mission is. This Sunday we are launching a new series entitled ‘True To His Word’ as we consider each of the statements he makes and how he fulfilled each one. We will see that Jesus was true to his word. This week we are going to start with the statement, “Proclaiming good news to the poor,” and we will see that proclaiming the good news involves feeling the pain of another person and resolving to do something about it.

While transitioning from one season of our lives to a new season can be exciting, it is most often stressful, painful, uncomfortable, and confusing. We will be reminded this coming Sunday that God is at work during the transitional seasons of our lives and he will lead us if we let him.
