Farid Johnson was named the 2024 New York State Principal of the year. The award is an example of Farid’s commitment to excellence, his passion for education and his strong ties in the community. Farid is no stranger to adversity- losing his dad at age 11, his sister at age 20, his mom in 2012 and both of his foster parents. Farid embodies a unique leadership style and does things much differently than others.
