For episode 15 of the Flatirons Syndicate podcast, we had just been looking at some of the work Scotty has been doing to build a rear diffuser on his 2011 STI race car. This is a topic that comes up fairly often around here, and Tasso from OTC Racing is always particularly interested in finding new ways to make his car more efficient in terms of aerodynamics.
We had a great discussion about approaches for aero that you can make yourself, and how to tell if you are making worthwhile improvements, etc.
And inevitably, the topic of seat time came up as well.
